EdRev (Education Revolution) is a unique day of information, resources, celebration and community for students who learn differently and the families and professionals who support them. Parents Education Network (PEN) and around 2,000 attendees celebrated the eighth annual EdRev in 2016.

EdRev 2017 features keynote speaker Scott Barry Kaufman, psychologist and author of Ungifted: Intelligence Redefined and Wired to Create: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Creative Mind.

Learn how to increase your child’s self esteem, regardless of how unsupportive your child’s school environment is, in this step by step live six week video course for mothers of children 7-13 years old. THE COURSE WILL BEGIN SEPTEMBER 7TH, AND END OCTOBER 19TH

There will be three live video workshops,that we call “classrooms”, as well as, self study videos every week, worksheets and supportive resources. If you cannot attend the live community workshops, you will get the recordings.

Light it Red for Dyslexia Awareness, Sundial Bridge & Convention Center Fountain, Worldwide Dyslexia Day.  Join us at the south end of the Sundial Bridge wear Red or Gray to help raise awareness for the 1 in 5 with Dyslexia and release of California Department of Education’s Dyslexia Guidelines.  This event is brought to you by the generous support of Lisa Riggs, Educational Counselor, Christina Anderson, Dyslexia Specialist – Master Certified Barton Reading Tutor, Darcy Thompson of Thompson Reading Clinic, Kathy Estes, Barton Tutor, and Rowell Family Empowerment Center.

This conference is designed for teachers, practitioners and parents to help them learn to identify, understand, and provide evidence-based teaching for students who have dyslexia and dyscalculia.Participants will learn the latest genetic studies as a basis for understanding current practices for assessment and intervention. The focus of these discussions will be for school-age students.
