Decoding Dyslexia CA is proud to partner with many advocacy and literacy organizations that share our commitment to improving literacy outcomes for all learners in California.
We are also honored to participate in the California Kids Read coalition. Together, we have driven successful and meaningful change across California by spearheading and supporting numerous pieces of legislation across the finish line, including:
- Assembly Bill 1454 – 2025’s early literacy bill (two previous iterations: AB 1121 and AB 2222)
- Governor’s 2025-26 Budget allocated funds for:
- the implemention of screening for risk of reading difficulties, including dyslexia
- teacher training in evidence-based means of teaching foundational reading skills
