The Decoding Dyslexia movement began in 2011 when Decoding Dyslexia New Jersey was formed. By 2016, the movement expanded to chapters in 50 states and 4 Canadian provinces.

U.S. Congressional Dyslexia Caucus
A Bipartisan Congressional Dyslexia Caucus was formed to educate members of the public about dyslexia, as well as to identify policies that will support individuals as they overcome dyslexia and pursue educational and career opportunities.
